Thats the ticket right there. No one cares as much for my box as I do. only handwashing for me.

FYI - If anyone has not yet discovered the joys of the CA car duster, you are missing out. Takes less than 5 min. a day to dust your ride, and it keeps it looking great. I could probably move washing from once a week to once every two weeks, but I do like a clean car. When I wash on the weekend, I get almost NO dirt off the roof, rear hatch and top half off all the doors.

Ive had my TC about 10 months now and never took it through a car wash. Usually wash once a week in better weather but cold doesnt stop me. Washed it last week when it was 25 degreees to get the nasty road salt off. Yeah it is a pain using buckets to wash and rinse, but its got to be done Even had the water freezing in thin layers as I dry it but oh well. If anybody or anything is gunna scratch my car I rather it be me than some machine, plus you do a better job and know every imperfection on your baby. Keep those TC's clean & protected!

dont believe me? i got pics i'll show you after i clay bar'd and waxed my car.
Just a note to anyone who has not used the clay bar on their ride, it's awesome! A detailer will get you for about a hundred bucks but you can do it yourself with a total output of 20 bucks. Just remember to take your time and do the entire body. You must wax it right after though, the clay takes off the previous coat of wax. You will feel the difference with your hand, the side you've clayed will feel like glass.

It's a chilly 72 here but I'm going to wash my box right now. Aloha
