Clay Bar?
I want to detail my car and am going to do a meguairs 3 step thing. Clay Bar, Deep Crystal Polish, and Gold Glass Wax. Just wondering if this is right? The Clay Bar i cannot find meguairs anywhere locally in stores. So i was just going to use the Mothers Clay Bar...is that ok?

Don't worry ,a Clay bar is a clay bar, any brand will work.
As far as Meguiar's Gold class wax, make absolutely sure that you do not accidentally get any of it on any of your black plastic trim. Especially the Grills.
It is a PITA to get off :p
I would personally recommend Zaino Bros. Polish. Lasts much longer and can be stacked for an even deeper shine.

I would personally recommend Zaino Bros. Polish. Lasts much longer and can be stacked for an even deeper shine.

the steps you are doing are fine after all that make sure you wax. turtle wax or that 2000 finish wax is good. use the applicator pads and keep it wet and strain it every once in a while. Ive done this procedure 3 times and it looks very nice. no scratches on my paint. if you want scratches go buff your ride.

Zaino seems expensive at first sight, but I have only had to polish my cars once a year, so when you break it down, that 80 dollar initial purchase will actually last several years ... definitely worth saving up for.
