Default Cleaning the exhaust?

I was on the highway and I caught a plastic bag under my car.

A couple of days later I found that the bag had melted on my axle-back.

What can I do to clean my axle-back and get the melted plastic off??

Ouch, that sucks, I'd try Never-Dull wadding polish. If that doesn't work, you can take it off the car and use a high speed buffer. Beyond that, I haven't a clue.

Whatever you end up doing, make sure you don't ruin the anti-rusting properties of the pipe. Sanding would get rid of it for sure but you'd have to paint it afterwards to keep rust away.

I'd say sand it off then paint it with some high heat paint.
