Default Clicking noise?

I'm hearing a clicking noise coming from my driver side front end. can't seem to pinpoint the area since my exhaust and intake make so much noise. dont even know how long its been making that sound. any ideas?

Probably the outer CV joint...take a look near the front wheel and inspect the black rubber boot...or jack up that side of the car, put the car into neutral (with the parking brake on) and spin the wheel by hand and take a listen.

Also, if you hear it during turning and when you do a quick acceleration...it probably is a CV joint.

do you hear the clicking noise when youre turning or going straight? If its the CV joint you will only hear a clicking when turning, and not when you are going straight.

I had a clicky noise too, which turned out to be the rotor guard. I simply pushed it in a little bit with a long screw driver and havent had a problem since.

actually i found the problem to be a loose hubcap. potholes in queens jarred it even more loose causing a really loud clackety clack.

another problem came about though as i was trying to figure out what the clicking noise was, my rear driver side suspension is making a squeaking noise. i put my weight on the rear passenger door sill and bounce it and i can definely center the sound. any suggestions?

Do you have lowering springs? They tend to make creaking noises.

And WHY are you still on hubcaps! lol J/K
