My ’06 tC has a cloudy, almost oily film on the inside of the windows. My car has 3500 miles on it. I cleaned the windows at like 1500 miles because I thought it was just like a new car thing. Well it came back and is hard to clean off. Windex seams to work but I really have to work at it to get it clean. (I get the window clean but after a few day it comes back). Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated… I am taking it to the deal next Monday because the A/C seems weaker than when I got the car. (even then I was not overly impressed by its ability)

 

you can thank your dashboard for that film. All cars with vinyl dash boards get that. its a pain, just don't let it build too much.

Try Stoner's Invisible Glass glass cleaner instead of Windex. Plus, Windex is bad if you have tint..

 

Furthermore use Newspaper with your Stoners...........

 

I prefer MF cloth to newspaper only because my hands are black by the time I'm finished. lol. But newspaper does a good job also.
