clay also works to remove paint splatter. we clayed one of my friend's car that had white paint splattered all over the front grill. worked easily on the paint but not so easy on the plastic grill.

People who say that they can clay their car in 30 minutes is either:
1. Someone who hasn't tried it
2. doing it entirely wrong
3. can slow down time to 1/3
3. possess superhuman speed I.e. Flash
Claying a car is one of the more detail extensive projects you can do, even more so than waxing. A good clay job can bring out any clearcoated finish to showroom smoothness. Combine it with a porter buffer with mild polish to remove fine swirls, then seal and wax it down.
