Default DIY Dent Removal

I've had my box for about 2 weeks now and man have I cleaned this baby up.

I park really far anywhere I go to avoid little dings at all cost but the worst happened...

I'm guessing yesterday at school my driver side door must of gotten a little ding and I didn't notice it till today at work =/

The ding is no bigger than 2'' or so and you can only see it in a particular angle or with the right light but to me this thing is already driving me nuts!

I searched DIY ding removal and came upon this method here

http://www.metacafe.com/watch/963248...ith_a_lighter/

Anyone ever try this?

Seems like it'd work.

let me know!

sometimes it works but sometimes it doesn't. It all depends on what kind of dent you hav on your car. You might want to give it a try then let us know what is the result.

I just got a bad dent from a buggy at wal-mart, about 3 inchs with a little bit of a line pushed in. I got one of those "dent king" things that you see on tv that Billy Mays is pushing for $20 and it did a pretty good job. I've still got some more to do, but if your dent is'nt to creased then that thing will really do the job.

I always park a mile away and it never fails that someone will park right next to me and the parking lot usually is empty, I just dont understand why people do this!

i recently tried this for one of my smaller dents. didnt work for me, but i think its cause the dent was on the tC door where it kind of bends.

im going to try this on my friends old car =p. only if the suction cup doesnt work. thats a lot safer and cheaper...liquid gas isnt free...

btw computer dust buster cans has it just turn it upside down and spray. be careful that stuff can cause instant frostbite.
