Default Does a 1050 Psi or 1400 Psi pressure washer hurt Paint ?

hey my hose at my house has absolutley no pressure, so i wanted to buy a power washer for the cleaning, my quesion is will a 1050 or 1400 psi washer hurt the paint or anything ? just wondering ....thanks

I wouldn't recommend getting a pressure washer. They can do a lot of damage. You don't need water pressure you clean your car. Just wash it well with a soft cloth or mitt and rinse with what pressure you have.

it is not needed unless you are using it for other things around the house.

i took some paint off my front lip with one at my work (Dealership)
if you have some chips it can make them worse <--my case
I just wanted to " un-weld " the bugs......

i wouldn't use a pressure washer, unless i had a beater 4x4 truck that was encased in mud

You have to be VERY careful with a pressure washer. If you do get one, just remember that the farther back you stand, the less pressure is actually hitting the paint. NEVER put the tip of the wand close to the paint. If the water hits even the slightest chip in the paint, it will peel off a much larger area.
