Hey does anybody know if anybody makes a full sized bra for an XA? Seems like the hood of my XA is a magnet for rocks and pebbles, which is creating lots of paint chips on my hood.
I know that you can get a mini bra through the dealer, but it seems so tiny.

If you use a bra, the paint underneath will end up a different color than the exposed paint. Also, moisture under the bra may be a problem to the paint with eventual flaking. I've seen clear plastic that is applied in the front to prevent chips, but don't have any experience with them or car bras and covers. Maybe you should look for the clear hard plastic application first - cheaper, better looking, IMHO. Or, check on other sites for experiences with these items on other vehicles.

 

i have the colgan bra for the XB, and its really nice. it fits really tight, and protects the whole front end. don't know if they make one for the xa yet tho. give them a call and see whats up. FYI, your paint will only fade, if you don't protect it with a good wax, and if you always park in the sun. plus, colgan has like a 5 year warranty on their bra's too, so you don't have to worry about it falling apart.
