Default help with "maint required" light, i did search,

i did search and found info on the 05 and 06 models, but didnt see anything on the 07's relating to resetting the "maint required" light.

my odometer just turned 10k and around 9750 or so, the light came on. i took it to the dealer right around the 4500 mile mark for the first oil change. then, i went to my friends shop and did it there for the second oil change around 7500 miles. i've read that the light is scheduled to illuminate more or less at specific mileage markers.

i tried resetting myself by doing th "ign-on, ign-off, hold down reset button, ign-on until the dash or "s" and dash appear and then start the car once the "maint required" light stops blinking but i havent had any luck.

is there a different method for doing this on the 07's?

The "s-off" "s-on" function is for the needle jump when you start the car. You want this one...

Trip has to read odo. Turn car off, press and hold the odo button. While holding odo button, turn key to "ON" and wait til the odo flash. Let go of button, turn car off, and turn back on, maint. light should go away.
