Not suppose to wash your car in the hot sun or shade, the car being to hot. The heat will dry the water specs and they can really mess up your paint. Happen to my last car....

if you have tint dont use Windex on them... it will turn your tint purple... Only use special window cleaning solution thats safe for tint.. i recommend a few drops of baby shampoo in a water sprayer...

Yes thats suppose to be the safest way to clean ur windows if you have tint.. Well thats what the professional tint guy told me lol... i have personally used it and it works the outside of the windows use whatever inside where tint is be cautious

one thing I did was buy new OEM parts IF anything needs to be replaced. Search on craigslist for parts cars and on SL classifieds. Nothing too expensive, just stuff like the seat covers and things that get scratch on a daily basis. I've had my tC for almost 3 years and when it's washed and waxed people think it's new but I know where all the scratches are, lol. Meguiar's Scratch X + NXT wax does wonders!

If you have the money to, having a beater car to take to school might be a good idea. I'm sure you can find a small pickup truck for under $2k, heck I'd sell you mine if you lived by me. A car cover with a lock might be a good idea too.
