How warm does it have to be to wax?
I live in Iowa and we have had a warm streak lately with temps in the upper 30's and 40's. Today, it is supposed to hit 50 or so. I am tired of my car looking like crap with all of the sand and salt from the roads. I washed it a couple of days ago and am wondering if the 50 degree weather is warm enough to wax in.

Cold weather makes it more difficult, but it won't hurt anything - assuming your car is clean to start with.
I used to do it a lot when I lived in PA, and the amount of effort is greater, but no harm ever.

Waxed last thursday
Last thursday,I went to the carwash,11:00 that same day it was 55 and I waxed it with nanowax.
Went on fine ,but like he said it came off little harder, nothing to _____ about though
2 days later were getting hammered with rain and wind,
I just like to see my car clean.

i know this isnt the same but i use a liquid wax(like) buff that i spray on when i dry my car. I know its not the same thing but you can feel the shiny coating on the car (which is only good for a few weeks but thats fine with me).

I did wax my car w/ the real deal - i had a few beers too many and waxed the darn thing for a few hours. ha. I really like that spray though - even if it doesnt help it makes my car nice and shiny looking.
