Morning engine start problems
So I am having problems starting the car in the mornings, I have to crank it twice to get engine started properly. The first crank will result in the engine puttering for a few seconds till it is completely dead. Then second crank will be perfect and engine starts & idles properly.
Car overnight outside in cold: crank problem
Car overnight inside garage: no problem
What kind of things can i look for to find my cuprit? At first i thought the battery was bad but car works fine when indoors. i'm lost. Thanks in advance!

Turn on the key to the ignition on position for a few seconds before turning it all the way to start. Get some gas treatment into your gas for a few tank fulls - use part of the bottle each time not the entire bottle. Check the tightness of the battery connections - low voltage to the ECU can cause some real injector and ignition problems. Check the Blue Eye in the battery in the morning to make sure that your battery is fully charged.
