My Super White is more yellow than anything. Help Me
Well my year + old super swhite tC is more yellowish looking than a white car. How can I make the paint super white again. I've waxed and polished the car and it grets washed weekly if not more. Just wondering isit me or are the super whites turning yellowish?

Is it consistently yellow all over or is it more yellow on the top surfaces than the sides? If its all over it might be some sort of oxidation or maybe a chemical reaction to something in your area. If its worse on the top surfaces it might be sun fading, although since this is not a more commonly reported problem it might be a combination of exposure to some sort of chemical plus the sunlight.
If the clear coat is intact I wouldn't imagine a clay bar will help much, unless its the actual clear coat that is changing color and not the paint. A clay bar is probably still worth a try, but if that doesn't work all I can think of is to get a re-paint, and start keeping the car in the shade as much as you can.
Chalk another one up for complaints about scion's paint...

i agree that it's probably the area that you live in. I have a SW since september last year, and it's as white as the new 06 models i see. I try to wash, and wax every two weeks, and occasionally polish and claybar. You should probably get the car into a dealership and complain.
Goodluck!

If its some kind of fall out on your clear coat, the clay bar will be your best bet. I think if you clay bar, and nothing changes, you should be able to get the dealership to fix it under warrenty. I can't imagine what would cause a white car to turn yellow. As much as my old 11 year old saturn was neglected and stuff was left to sit on it, whenever I cleaned it up, it shined up to it's origional white.

My SW seems to be maintaining its Super Whiteness just fine..I have only waxed it a few times in the past year..I wash it on a regular basis, and use the car duster in between washes...One thing I have noticed, is that if I park under certain trees, if it rains there yellow spots on the car, in the shape of rain drops..Probably not related, and they wash right off..Like other issues, maybe this is a defect in a particular batch of paint..If that is the case, I hope they will repaint your car..
