Default New Car...problems already. Help please.

Well i bought an 05 scion tc yesterday and was loving it till on the way home tonight the check engine light came on. Needless to say i made me mad i just spent 16500 on in. So anyway i pulled in to advanced auto and got there scan tool and pulled the codes...i got 2 auxiliary emission control codes, 2 evap system lk detect pump control circuit low/high, and an evap system switching valve ctl circuit low. None of this means anything to me could some one explain please. also is it something that needs to be taken care of right away and shouldn't be driven till i get it fixed or is it ok to take to work for a couple days till i get a day off? I know its a long post but anyhelp would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

So you got it used? How many miles? Can you tell if there was anything done to it under the hood? Is there an intake, can you tell if maybe the header was removed or anything like that?

yeah sorry. new to me. it has 8488 miles on it right now. i looked under the hood as far as i can tell nothing has been removed. no intake on it just the stock one. it was on when i bought it and they ran it and told me it was just the gas cap loose...would that set it off? but i haven't put any gas in is since they cleared it...its at half tank if that helps. for what i was found on the computer...o2 sensor maybe? i'm gonna call the dealer back in the morning and see what the deal is.

The gas cap could be possible. I think it's something about air getting in there or something.

But ya, if that's not it, as long as you haven't done anything to it as far as aftermarket parts go, you should be fine taking it to the dealer and it SHOULD be warranty work.
