don't do it, i used a gas powered pressure washer on my tc, put a nice paint chip on the bumper. just get the mister clean car care kit and put some elbow grease in it.

don't know what psi it was at, the fan spray is fine, but the focused stream is what took a chip outta my paint.

it also stripped my front license plate of paint. i ended up taking it off and pressure washing the whole thing to the bear metal. but after a while i was getting too paranoid that i would get a ticket. (one day i came to an intersection where they were training cops to direct traffic, and the cop did a double take at my license plate, i was sweating bullets!)

Pressure washers are no good for daily use. They are way too hard on the paint. Those Mr. Cean wash kits leave a funky residue on the paint. Stick with hand washing with a nice microfibre cloth and car wash soap (never dish detergent). And dry with a seperate pre-moistened microfibre towel. You paint will thank you

I took out a nice chunk of skin on my finger at one of those drive in wash places

I just rented a 3000 psi gas washer, cleaned off a bunch of concrete walk ways and then washed my car, i just held it far enough away and it did fine.

but i don't think it is worth the money, a regular hose does just fine. If you have bad water, invest in a water filter instead

I'm perfectly content with the MR. Clean Auto Dry system , it works great when you actually use a scrub the car down. Otherwise your it's going to leave allot of stuff behind like water marks etc. The Pressure washers are really for motor homes/ rv's those things are powerful they sell some for cars around 80dollars but not worth it.
