Hi, my 07 tC has 6000miles on it and I was surfing thru kragen.com and found lots of fluid for fuel and oil and I've never used any of those on my tc.

Here are some questions about them.

What treatment or cleaner do you guys use?
How often should I use them and do I HAVE TO use all of them?
Could you guys recommend a good brand?

Finally, is it okay to use them all at once?

Just buy your gas from a top tier company. No need for additives.

 

they do a little but generally not cost efficient. on a new car save your money. as you start racking up miles use fuel injector cleaner now and then, every 5000 miles or so, dont buy the cheap offbrands. fuel treatment has more chemicals in it supposedly cleans more engine parts. Chevron Techron is good but at $6/bottle you dont want to use it much, every 10000 miles or so.

 

Gumout Regain (gold fluid in clear bottle) every 5000 miles BEFORE you change the oil.
Helps keep the deposits down.
It's not cheap, so when you see the sales, grab a few.

 

I use injector cleaner about twice a year... Does it work? Who knows... But I feel good about it.
