Removing Stubborn Contaminants

Removing Stubborn Contaminants
Hey guys.
My car, especially the hood, has quite a few of contaminants that are basically stuck on there and I can't seem to get it off. I park under a tree at work (no choice) and during the summer, all these tree saps and other gooey gunky stuff from trees and barks fall and land on my hood and basically, it gets heated on there due to the hot sun.
I can't seem to get it off no matter what product I use. I tried even scraping it off, but I'm afraid I might scratch the paint. I heard claying might work, but I haven't tried that yet. These contaminants have been on my car for over a year or two now.
What would be the best way to remove those?
Thanks guys.

Secondly I would highly recommend trying the Turbo Wax Oxidation/Bug Bar Remover!! Really hard to comment accurately when I haven't seen photos, also a tall order after 2 years of baked on muck, but I'd expect it will lift a good amount of the yuk off, if not all. If it is really extremely bad, you may need to do a second pass. Most importantly, follow the directions on the link below.
Can you please take some before and after photos!!!

I did a crazy panel a few months back on a really gross light mustard brown, 38 year old Rover, it had been sitting out in the rain for 8 years, totally unloved, so you can imagine what a horrible rusted, oxidated state it was in, and I still got a good reflection going.
So when are you buying the oxidation bar???
