rock chips, paint chips, Oh my!
Hello. I was just wondering what everyone does about those little chips or even pits from road debris? I have a Camo xB and I live in CO so I already have some nice pits in the paint on the front of the hood.
I figured OEM paint would be one solution. I didn't know how much it costs or the challenges associated with patching with it.
Obviously I could get a new CF hood!
Ok, back to reality.......
Any info would be welcomed. Thank you.

yep, get used to it.
i only had one rock chip...then i started commuting on the highway to school. now i have plenty more
you could spend the cash and get a clear bra installed. i wish i would have.
i make sure you wax my car with at least 3 layers on the front. i know it won't end rock chips, but it makes bug removal easier.
carbon fiber hood might be might if something worse than a rock chip happens to my hood.
cheapest thing you can do is get a bottle of touchup and try to apply it with a toothpic, once it dries, smooth it out with some rubbing compound. i wouldn't bother paying a place to do it for you, as you will just accumulate more and more rock chips over the life of your car.

I have the Camo. The easiest way to cover them up is to wash the car, then get a crayola crayon, yes that right , a crayon. while the car is warm cover all the little chip marks, it really fills them with crayon. Then wax it real good.
you'll never see them until you wash it again a couple times.
Then cover it up with a bra.
