Default simple question for a simple answer

just changed my oil, wish they just made it a easy 4 quart deal and not some 3.7 quart lol

well any ways i used a hastings oil filter "LF410" (kind of looks like i could use it on a 3/4 scale model engine lol) well any ways, its the same diameter at the lip, and the same height but the body outside diameter is slightly smaller (well since they didn't have a filters for scions yet, i just went with a echo filter

so question is should i be worried about the oil filter being slight smaller in the body wise part of it???

simple yes no answer will be GREAT!!!

As far as I know Toyota only specifies two different oil filters. The one used for the Echo should be the same as all of the Scions. But to be safe you should call the dealer to confirm that. Unfortunatly I can't give you a simple yes or no becuase I don't have a cross reference manual in front of me but I hope this helps.

Checked in several oilfilter books and they all say the echo and scions all use the same filter. Not to worry
