Well i guess i left my car dirty for to long after it rained..and the spots of dust and water left little white marks on my tC...i mean you cannot see them looking straight on you have to kinda of look at an angle..but it's on the hood and the trunk..where the sun pounds the most! HOW DO I GET THESE OFF! i tried waxing the hood...NO L UCK! will clay bar remove them???

 

yes- clay bar, polish, then wax....

Why do people wax over damaged paint?

Are you trying to protect the damage?

Generally water spots or other "etching" in the clear coat needs to be polished off.

 

OOPSS! sorry i didnt know. The first thought that came to mind was MAYBE THE WAX WILL TAKE IT OFF...and it did...well some of it...but now i have shiny spots I will clay bar the hood later this weekend. I cannot do the whole car because it's going into the body shop this week for the nice scrape someone put on my bumper....ICK!
