Default Summer time time for WAXing.

O.k its time to get the shine on my last one was blue onyx pearl but now I have a Salsa red and I am a wax and glossy shine nut. I have been using P21S and I think it is going to be hard to beat. I also Heard about but haven't tried the Nattys blue paste. Any info would be great.

I am very fond of meguiars products. Using them properly and mainting your car will make it immaculate. Meguiars NXT tech wax is amazing. the best thing i can tell you to do is to go to www.meguiarsonline.com and check out and join the forum. so much information and help.

good luck!!!

I tried the meguier nxt on my chevy and was very careful but still got some on the trim and can't get it off. The p21s will not stain trim. does the Zaino?

I don't think NXT and anything from P21S can be compared. P21S wax gives a gorgeous deep gloss. NXT doesn't give too much depth. It's shiny though.

I have to say, if you're gonna use NXT, may as well switch to TW Ice. Put all prejudices aside and try it out (although for 15 bucks it's an expensive thing to just sample.) I found that Ice really makes flecks in the paint pop and gives a decent shine but not much depth. But it's wayyy easier than any NXT wax to apply.

Nah, there was a hole topic on how crappy that TW ICE was. TW is the McDonalds of car wax.

Its longevity is questionable at best but for garaged cars it works decently long. I highly doubt many in that thread actually used the products.

That thread was a mixed bag. A few people tried it a little and hated it but a few people left positive reviews. I was one of them.

I agree with the Meguir's tech wax. That stuff works a charm.

p21s is its own brand I got mine from sportscarcare.com do a serch for p21s most all places will have the same price. I have waxed about 5 times and my can is still 3/4 full you will not be dissapointed. My black rims came in today and I am in the process of putting a coat on now. Oh yeah don't forget to run the clay bar first.

I have both P21S and the pinnacle souveran and both are good but I perfer the P21S because I have found it to be more dirt resistant and it last longer.

I am now using Zaino Z5-Pro and I like that also.

I have a black Mr2 spyder and both products are very different. When I used Zainos Z2 it had too much plasticity pop to it.
This new formulation of the Z5 pro is nice and glossy with depth. The P21S has pop that really comes out.

The reason why I switched back to Zaino is to try the Z-5 pro and because in my opinion once layered Zaino is a great sealant that lasts a long time. I am sure I would get more pop if I used the Z2 pro but that was not the look I was going for.

For overall look I have to give it up to P21S. It has a true carnuba look and it has some of the pop from a sealant but not much protection.

fyi... the meguier's website has a faq on how to remove the haze that wax can leave on plastic or trim pieces.
