Default touch up paint or repaint?

please bear with me on this weird description, i'm a car detailing newbie.

I got these 2 deep chips next to each other on the hood. both are about the size of half the top of a pencil eraser. you can see the white that's underneath (underneath a few layers it looks like. i am already gonna buy touch up paint for a small chip on the bumber, but i dunno about these 2 deep ones. am i gonna need to get a repaint on the hood? if so, how bad would it look? or is it possible to use touch up paint and smooth it out somehow? if anyone needs pictures, i'll figure out how to post some.

Repaint will cost you hundreds depending on the place you go it.

Either use some touch up paint, get a CF hood, or live with it

Probably touchup or something like Meguir Scratch X, but if too deep that might not work.
