Go to a different dealer. Maybe that dealer doesn't want to mess with the TSB. That TSB sure is lenghty too.

What did the Toyota dealer tell you?

Is it blowing warm air out or not blowing at all? Is it cold air or just cool air.
My A/C works great, and it was pretty HOT here last week.

Call Toyota on their 800#.

You do have a warranty you know.

Boy, you should probably PM a dealer that you know would help you or something. Maybe a good-looking parts guy that you may have had contact with. If only you knew somebody like that...

AAAAAAA...

I cant beleive my sister .. i told her to go to scion.com and type on chat. I was in seattle with no internet access.

if you want something done right do it yourself.

NOTICE i edited my vin on a public forum and where did she originally posted it at?

grizzly..

when i called to make the appointment i told them about the tsb TSB AC007-04 and told them to type that in the notes. when my sister took it in she said they wrote over the notes. then they called her that they found a "hair" sized leak and leave it overnight. then i called them and told them AGAIN about the tsb and if they had questions to call scion. next day they said "to bad" that they found no problems and made my sister pick it up. I only took it there because that was the closest for my sister and because i met a mechanic that went to our last meet.

i remember somebody giving a bad review about that dealer but i took my chances..coming monday i will call scion and complain. i could of used the fix last week for the hot and humid chicago weather today and the following weeks.

sorry about the caps guys my sister is not forum savvy..the fuji apologises.

Hey Fuji, I just bought a $300 a/c sniffer that will find any leak FAST. You would have to meet me by my house though. Just thought I would volunteer my services...

When I first got my xB the AC was weak as hell. Being out in the summer heat of El Cajon California I wanted to die. Eventually though it got a lot better and now the car cools down just fine. I think it just needed to break in, not that that makes any sense to me for an A/C. Oh well.

Good luck.
