Default Update to my problem with the security systems

I received a form letter from Scion on how they wanted to make sure that I was happy with Scion service signed by a Mr Farley National Vice President for Service.

So I sent him a confidential letter on exactly what has transpired, on Friday May 21st. Today Carolyn his next inline called me and appologized for the rude treatment and the failure of Scion to recognize the problem.

I am not getting anything special or anything for what was taken but they are going to, at their cost, remove the security system and credit me 469.00 so that I may buy other products for my Scion. That is all I wanted from the beginning and it took me 2 months of calling and writing and if I did not receive the from letter I would of never gotten Mr. Farley's name.

I love my car. I will now look at the post for security systems on this board and get one of those installed.

To all that posted and supported me, thank you.

Im happy to hear things worked out for you.
Kinda made me mad the way Scion was treating you.
Glad they took care of you.

Thanks for keeping us posted.Thanksto you and other people on this site, I had Toyota remove the scion security as an option before he came from the port. They tried to tell me it was a good deal and price, but I told them I'd install an aftermarket one for a little less. He then told me "oh then you're going to void your warranty"..lol I'm like I'll take my chances..if not I'll have insurance.

Default Well I got it all done and back, it took two days for them

to get it right. First time they told me that the wrong part came and when I picked it up the fog lights didnt work and I had to wait around for about an hour why they figured it out and no the high beams werent on. I HIGHLY recommend Toyota of Carlsbad though. Nice, sensitive and the workmanship was great so far. Ok here I come Fry's put ina Clifford would ya please.
