What's QEW? Being this close to Canada, my first thought was the expressway in Ontario. :o) That sure didn't make sense concerning the topic. LOL

QEW is a hoseless wash made by a company called ProtectAll. They're big in the camper/RV area. It stands for Quick & Easy Wash.

Many people swear by it, mostly those that have to deal with snowy winters. It lets them wash off the salts, dirt, road grime, etc from their cars in the garage without the need for a hose. I personally haven't used it because where I live the coldest I see is around 50 degrees (I <3 FL), and I'm still crazy enough to go outside and wash my car for two hours in that weather. I don't have a good feeling about the product though. I don't see how enough lubrication can be had from just one bucket of QEW water to not cause at least some swirling. But hey, many pro detailers that I've met online via Autopia use it and they don't get swirls, so maybe i'm just being crazy. But they have said that if the car is really dirty that a conventional wash is needed to wash the car and not cause swirling.
