What is a "Formal Proposal" for a Sponsorship??
Hey everyone, I am currently trying out for some sponsorships.... and I got replies back, but they told me they needed more of a "FORMAL" proposal, and include pics, i know the pics part was a must, just had to take some, but i'm not sure what a FORMAL PROPOSAL means?? i just sent a kinda/sorta resume type of deal, like the year and make of my car, what i did so far, where i'm located, and why it think i would be a good sponsor for their company..., and that i was featured in a EUROPEAN car magazine.. and much more, but any help would be appreciated by those major guys out there with TONS of sponsors... thanks

Tell them what you can bring to the, let them know what you can offer them and their name.
If you have intentions on attend 50 shows over the course of the year then let them know, also tell them about any major events that you have and will attend.

Sponsorship
Hi NMxBPB,
In a nut shell it is what makes you and your car worth the "sponsorship" In most cases it includes a professional rendering. A rendering is a good drawing of what your car will look like when it’s done. It also includes a list of what you are willing to do to earn the “free” products you are going to receive. For example a list of car shows, TV and magazines (with commitment letters) All of these elements put together will give you your best shot of getting approved. Good luck.
