Search for 'Wax' in Maintenance & Car Care, you'll find some stuff there.

Collinite 476s. Most waxes last 4-6 weeks max, but this stuff suppose to last 6 months to 1 year.

Meguiar's has a 3-stage system that works pretty well. 3M makes a liquid rubbing compound that works well too, just be sure to use a finish wax after using it. You gonna do it by hand, or w/a buffer? As far as regular wax, it's really personal preference & depends on how well you keep up your vehicle, where it's stored, weather conditions, etc. I know ppl who use high $$ brands, but if you use anything often enough, you'll be fine. I've used Liquid Lustre since I detailed cars. It's good stuff. You can find it on the interweb, or even on ebay: http://shop.ebay.com/items/_W0QQ_nkw..._mdoZQQ_sopZ12 . I buy it from one of my local hot rod shops & it runs about $10 a bottle...//TJ

The best wax can be crap with a sub par wash and bar job. Make sure you tip and bar every spot before even looking to apply any wax.

I use meguiars.

I am a P21S guy myself. its all in how you apply it. you could have the most expensive wax possible but if you don't do it right you won't have the best results. Your best bet is to do the whole clay bar, cleaner wax, polish, wax you will be amazed..

funny how everyone named every single wax maker company. everyone has different options.

carnuba is pretty good though. lots of elbow grease and your good.
clay bar first then wax. (need to clean your car first obviously)

First, you should start here, its a Car care/detail website. It will answer all your questions and they also have an online forum and Shop:

http://www.autopia.org/

You can never have "the best wax" You can buy Turtle Wax or you can buy Swizöl International wax. Difference, ones $10 and the other is made for your car color anywhere from $90-$2800.
http://most-expensive.net/car-wax

I personally I use Meguiars products and a combo of Zaino and other products. I usually start with a wash and clay, then Wax Remover/Polish. Take your time polishing, its what REMOVES the swirls and surface scratches, not Hides or covers them up like wax.

For wax i start with a Liquid wax, I apply it with RO buffer, then if I feel like it i'll do it twice. After, I'll use a good Carnuba Paste Wax to give it that deep wet shine look. I have a Black 350z from 2003 and I get so many compliments on the condition of the paint (Even the Judge At HIN was amazed). My application of Wax can be in a time frame of a couple days. Wax should really be given some time to harden up before you apply another coat on top.
