Default Wheel CLEANER question !! What do YOU guys use?

just out of curiousity, what is everyone using to clean their wheels? Anything special?

I still have the factory stockers (with only 400 miles on the 07 might I add!) and just want to see if some people found anything in particular...

Obviously, you MAY use a finisher for your chromie homies, but Im not there yet.. I was going to wear these down through the winter IF i even take the car out in the snow.

I think something with acid (which is usually the best/strongest cleaner) will kill these stock 17"s....

X2! Just stick with any wheel cleaner that says it's "clearcoat safe" and you will be golden!

***Also, Never try to clean wheels when they are hot! It will leave stains cause the cleaner will dry out before you get to use it.

Also keep them waxed! It makes them stay cleaner longer and easier to clean.

ding ding, this is the "secret"

wax/seal your wheels and you should just be able to use soap and water in the future. Brake dust and other crap won't stick to the wheels nearly as much.

But, if my (or other people's cars I sometimes wash) wheels are nasty, then I use Eagle One All wheel/tire cleaner. I love it mainly because it cleans tires AND wheels so well.

Autopians seem to really like this product as well. It also "clings" to the wheel which is great instead of it running straight off.
