yeah, this is really awful for TEIN, as they definitely put so much work into the vehicle. it doesn't have to be an inside job actually though. someone may have been staking out their facility for a while and may have gotten copies of keys or access cards or whatever.
this happens to many car shops/magazines.
the latest one i personally know about is sport compact car, whose project cars were basically stripped after a break in about a year ago, and their miata was stripped to the chassis a couple months back.
anyway, i hope TEIN doesn't get too down on this, and i hope they catch whoever did it. and inflict bodily harm.

man that blows dam low life's...yeah i read something a while back aswell were the broke in and robbed some cars even stole parts off the car ..form the sti i belive and left it on jacks... cant have anything nice cuzz there's allways haters looking ot make a cheap buck...they need to do more types of etching in parts now days so if ya see a scrathed off number its a hint as to what your buying....sorry for your loss tein hopefully they will bounce back and make somehting else ... like a xa ...

I guess the only good thing to come out of this would be that this story is probably on EVERY automotive website that anyone could think of. Hundreds of thousands of people are going to know about it. Chances are that someone out there will recognize the parts or the car. I doubt the car will ever be found though. It's probably already been melted down.
