Default 10 things you must do with your import (sarcasm)

things that i've learned on this site but apply to most imports - civics, integras, rsx's, you get the picture ;]

10) lower it til the point where it scrapes and damages the body when you pull in for gas. but it looks good!
9) buy those 2 colored stickers for the back of it - red/yellow or the other one
8 ) spend 1/8 of the price of the car on a sound system
7) spend $ on power mods because we MUST GET TO A 15-sec quarter mile!
6) throw on 17s and watch them dent/go flat when you hit a decent pothole
5) for every part you put on, you must put a sticker of that part company on your car somewhere
4) xa, xb, tc - doesnt matter - you CAN race it - stock or otherwise
3) buy a fish-eye lens for your camera (to)
2a) drive up to a wall with grafetti on it or a factory-lookin' area and take pictures of it OR
2b) take pictures of your car with so many insane angles that it looks like you were on a roller coaster while taking them. you know who you are!

and

1) express how different you are by adding mods that everyone else is doing.

LOL. no offense tho, just thought that was funny. and, please, feel free to contribute.

10. I just felt the xB sat too high. It gave too sporting of a chance to the cats that are stupid enough to dart across the street in front of my car. Now they have to try harder!
9. Never did understand those things either, anyone have any insight as to what the hell those things are for?
8. 1/8th... seems a little low for some of us. I passed 1/8th a LONG time ago!
7. Every little bit helps, I guess. It all depends on where you choose to spend the money. I'm saving up to buy some sort of lightspeed capable propulsion for my xB. That way, I won't have to travel from point A to B, I'll already be there. The cats from #10 will get a break, I guess.
6. 17s? I've never had a problem with rim damage and I'm on 18s. You do have to be careful of the cats from #10 though.
5. Stickers add horsepower. Didn't you know that?
4. I outran a Ferrari once in my xB. It was parked.
3. My rear-view camera has a similar effect to a fish-eye lens. Does that count?
2b. I wish I had cool places to take photos of my xBs, but all I could ever come up with is the stupid park. Oh, well. At least there were some trees to provide a background... and to provide cover for all the park-goers who stared at me like I was retarded. Maybe next time I should wear clothes when taking photos at the park. I just wanted to try some nude photography. My impression... a little too cold for my liking.
2a. Rollercoasters are fun. I threw up on one when I was a little boy. The lady behind we wasn't very happy about it.
1. That reminds me of a line from a South Park episode, where one of the Goth kids tells Stan, "In order to be a nonconformist you have to dress just like us and listen to all the same music we listen to." I guess we're all nonconformists.

muyhahahahahahahahahhahaahhahahahaha @ UV7! so funny dude. lol - i can see it on the news now : the number of vehicle related cat deaths has sky rocketed due to cars which are lowered for handling! the USA has now banned all ferraris, lamborghinis and xBs dropped on Teins until further notice! hahahahaha

ps - again - clearing it up - this isnt a list or thread about hateration. i just find so many things in common with mods, and why people mod, etc etc. i honestly can't afford to do most of the things on the list in the first place! l0l0l

i thought it was a nice, concise list of things to snicker at - if you wanna snicker. ;]

this list is like those lists of "you might be a redneck if..." sort of jokes... all funny things, out in the open, that people don't address, etc. so add some of your own here, people! =]

#9: Not sure what stickers you are exactly talking about, but I know a lot of Filipino's that have something that sounds similar to what you are talking about. Its kind of like a flag, lets other flips know that a flip is driving the car. Pacific islanders use them as well but in different colors (green and white i think)

It's been brought up numerous times...
The Wakaba mark is a green and yellow V-shaped symbol that new Japanese drivers must display on their cars for one year.

Alternately, the kareha mark is an orange and yellow teardrop-shaped statutory sign indicating drivers of old age (over 70).

Both marks are designed to warn other drivers that the marked driver is not very skilled, either due to inexperience or old age. Which is why I find it amusing when people put it on their cars in the US.

I know the whole JDM thing is huge but essentially marking yourself as a bad driver is pretty hilarious.

What I find really funny is when the Wakaba mark is on a tC. Hello? USDM not JDM.

Yes, I know Toyota HQ is located in Aichi, Japan but that's still no excuse.
