102 mph ticket
i got a ticket for going 102 mph on the 10 freeway at 2 in the morning a couple of months ago and i have night court for it today.. 
im already expecting a big fine for it but what else might they do..and what a good excuse i can use ..i wasnt racing and there was no traffic..what can i say i didnt even realixe i was going so fast well atleast not that fast...

Maybe tell them you're wearing heavy boots implanted with steel toes and padded with rhino skin? Only problem is "evidence". Well, sorry I can't get you any help. Good luck!

My buddy got a lesser fine by telling the judge that he had been at a gas station, and some hooligans pulled up to him and eventually started calling him derogatory terms referring to his sexual orientation. He then told the judge that he was fearing for his well being so he took off and didn't realize just how fast he was going, he just wanted to be as far away as possible. When asked why he did not tell the officer this at the time of the ticket issuance, he said that he was already flustered, and in that state of mind, he just wanted to get home.

Once you are clocked at 100 or over you can be arrested for wreckless indangerment, and your car can be impounded. You got lucky.

i was clocked doing 108mph in a 55 in pennsylvania (im from maryland) on a saturday morning (like 6am).
i went to court, dressed nice, told the judge that it was a stupid mistake, i take full responisbility, no excuses, and that i was ready to accept my punishment in full.
She was rather impressed by this 18yr old acting like this and only made me pay the $200 ticket and attend a driver improvement class. No points were put on my license and my insurance does not know about it (judge made sure of it).
i went to court, dressed nice, told the judge that it was a stupid mistake, i take full responisbility, no excuses, and that i was ready to accept my punishment in full.

points don't transfer from state-to-state...at least not in PA.
judges lie worse than lawyers do. your insurance knows about it.
to the OP: Good luck bra, imo you'll probably get your license suspended. Happened to my best friend, who had a pretty clean record before that.

i received the ticket in hershey , PA. Was taking my gf to the sweetest place on earth for her b-say.
Points actually do transfer from state to stat ein the DELMARVA & new york region. Theres a pact between the states to report driving activity. But that can be overwritten upon a judges request.
Its been almost 2 years now and my ins company doesnt have any record of anything ever happening. They dont even know that i had to go to drivers improvement in MD. Maybe i was a fluke or something, but thats what happened, luckily.
My suggestion is if you have a clean record id come straight with the judge. Even the police officer can put in a good word for you and a recommendation of reduction of punitive action if they are impressed by your honesty. Seeing how most people lie about these things in court, im sure they will be suprised.
Plus it makes for a quick hearing lol ( mine was 5 minutes long, hah)
