It was like the dvd set with a puzzle, book, and some trading cards.

*cough cough*... im not... well.. i dont think.. haha..

If you really want to see a real otaku, watch that japanese drama/comedy Densha Otoko (The Train Man). It's pretty corny...but beware of the dreaded otaku in that series..

Currently 1-8 episodes out there... you should collect it, its a 11episode series.. a good watch.

Yes..but not as good as GHOST IN THE SHELL, IMHO.

Still, I am enjoying it a lot.

Anyone like old school Anime? Like Speed Racer? (No, I am not kidding...if not for Speed Racer, there might not be the Anime we love today...)

Im just dissapointed at Case Closed. I put that anime in a category called "americanized anime". Its just that, I wish when the US bring anime here, please don't change the name or edit the entire anime with english names. It just makes the anime weird.

I am a big Detective Conan fan (Case Closed for you Cartoon Network folks), but I just lost interest when they just... gave it that name.. : (

Some other ones are:

Card Captor Sakura aka Cardcaptors
One Piece
Yu Gi Oh and even... *sigh*

Inital D...

It was a good thing most initial d fans got a hold of Stage 1-3 before america caught on...

hehee...

www.anime-conan.net you can get all the stuff I have there. They just released 93 yesturday. It was a good ending to 92 as it was a 2 part ep. Also they have the movies there to. I dont have the movie 7 because that was just a promo until they get the whole thing done. Its hard to think the series is still on going in japan with over 300 eps!

If you look at DB/DBZ & DBGT as a whole, then yes it has it beat. If you dont look at them all together then nope. DBZ was the longest running with I think it was 292eps & I think it was 13 movies. Just recall though, the first Dragonball started in japan like 1988 or around there while Detective Conan started in 1995.

Now my Anime collection can grow even more. I went out yesturday & bought me a Western Digital 200GB (has 186GB usable) 7200rpm 8mb cache hard drive. So I have more room for all my anime. Im getting real close to already having 100GB worth. My current standings with what I have:

Air: EPs 1-13 + Movie 1. Watched up to EP 6.
Bleach: EPs 1-54. Watched all of them.
Detective Conan: EPs 1-93 & 314. Movies 1 & 4. Seen all at least 2 times.
Final Fantasy Advent Children: The movies, seen 2 times so far.
Fullmetal Alchemist: EPs 1-51. Seen them all.
Futakoi 1: EPs 1-13. Seen them all.
Futakoi 2: EPs 1-5 & 7-10. Seen up to 5, waiting to find 6 to go on.
Ichigo 100%: EPs 1-12 & OVA 2, 3, 4. Seen them all.
Initail D: All of stage 1, 2, & 3. EPs 1-18 of stage 4. Seen all.
Kidou Shinsengumi: EPs 1-13. Seen them all.
Nartou: EPs 1-75. Currently have not started watching.
Onmyou: EPs 1-24. Seen them all.
Peach Girl: EPs 1-2. Currently have not seen + downloading the other eps.
Sailor Moon: EPs 167-200. Seen them all.
Suzuka: EPs 1-15. Seen them all.
Tsubasa Chronicles: EPs 1-25. Seen them all.
Xenosaga: EPs 1-12. Seen them all.

Shows I will be starting to watch / want to find:

Love Hina.
Wind.
Angel Heart. (When it starts getting released.)
& probably more

I could do that as well, but I know many more ppl have more then I do. The only thing I dont like, is the codecs used to play the videos, wont let me take a screen shoot. When I take one & then paste it into MSPAINT, I can watch the video playing in paint , then when i go to save it, its just a black screen
