ANTS IN MY CAR!!!! HELP (UPDATE)

^ i have no reason to lie about eating/drinking in my car! this started about two weeks ago, and ive been vaccuming my car like nuts since i found the first set of ants! Its gotta be something else, im blaming it on the rain and the ants looking for shelter!
either that or toyota made sweet tasting components in my car!

Well obviously it wasn't you eating in the car because there are in the back seat, but some of your passengers have some explaining to do. But you have the right idea, I have ants in my house every summer, it's a south thing I guess, but the gel stuff works good, just give it some time also those ant traps really do work good, better than anything else, so I might would get some of those. ive been vacuuming the car meticulously ever since i saw the first few ants, and i rarely have passengers in the back seat! other then loose dirt, there was no signs on my carpet or seats of anything ever being spilled!
so is anyone selling a used anteater?

Strip out your interior. See if you can find their actual nest inside the car. Apply poison directly. Ride around without your interior for a while. Clean / nuke your soft interior components. Stop parking under trees. Make sure to get between the wheel wells, behind the seating brace, and down around the side panels in your backseat.

i know this is old, but i had the same prob.. when i first bought the car, found out there was like a colony IN my rear seat with larva and all that nasty ____... vacuumed it all out and havent had the problem since :D
