^ i have no reason to lie about eating/drinking in my car! this started about two weeks ago, and ive been vaccuming my car like nuts since i found the first set of ants! Its gotta be something else, im blaming it on the rain and the ants looking for shelter!

either that or toyota made sweet tasting components in my car!

LOL....sorry, I must have missed the post where you said that you haven't been eating or drinking in your car. Has anyone else? If a friend spilled a small amount of soda or anything like that, it would be enough to attract them.

if worst comes to worst, you buy yourself an anteater... pretty easy to find in the black market

Well obviously it wasn't you eating in the car because there are in the back seat, but some of your passengers have some explaining to do. But you have the right idea, I have ants in my house every summer, it's a south thing I guess, but the gel stuff works good, just give it some time also those ant traps really do work good, better than anything else, so I might would get some of those. Good Luck.

ive been vacuuming the car meticulously ever since i saw the first few ants, and i rarely have passengers in the back seat! other then loose dirt, there was no signs on my carpet or seats of anything ever being spilled!

so is anyone selling a used anteater?

Strip out your interior. See if you can find their actual nest inside the car. Apply poison directly. Ride around without your interior for a while. Clean / nuke your soft interior components. Stop parking under trees. Make sure to get between the wheel wells, behind the seating brace, and down around the side panels in your backseat.

or is it "toss it in the car and run" type of anteater? lol

hope your not confusing it with a MANeater, those are no fun!

Find and kill the queen. The queen is probably inside your car somewhere.
