I hope, as the death toll climbs in the Middle-East and the deficit spirals upward, that they realize that by allowing themselves to be led into voting and support this BS administration and Congress, they really hurt America at home and abroad. I hope that they realize this and are willing to do whatever it takes to turn things around and help the healing begin.
Every Republican administration after Eisenhower has ended with either HUGE deficits or HUGE scandal. Some with both.
When will we learn?

Seriously though, I share your overwhelming urge to say "I told you so!" to all Bush supporters.

"There's an old saying in Tennessee—I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee—that says: Fool me once, shame on [pause] shame on you. [Pause] Fool me [long, uncomfortable, agonizing pause] you can't get fooled again."

I remember waaay back when we had the heated election debates, I said that "being the president of the US is like being a CEO of a large company and that Bush already ran 2 small companies into the ground and when they got their lowest point he sold them off and ducked out. Is this who you want to be our president"?
Well, the bush voters made him the CEO, he ran our country into the ground and now he's selling it off. Prophecy fulfilled. I told you so.

Good analogy.
People get so fired-up about being a good American they sometimes forget to scrutinize the actions of their elected leaders. In fact, they think that following blindly IS being a good American. Look at the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. What a joke that was but, people bought it.
Then they plaster the back of their car with ribbons to show support and call it a day.
