^really, are we talking about this year or last year because i didn't hear a thing about cops pulling people over.

If you want to get the cops to stop busting your ***** for modding your car, either un-mod your car, or get involved in the political process to change the laws.

Try joining SEMA, keeping an eye on your local city, and county ordinances, and getting involved with your communities. The most direct (cost effective) way to "fight the man" is to become the man. Let your local representatives know that you like to mod your cars, that you vote, and that you are loud and obnoxious (politely and reasonably of course), and that you have a position you want them to defend.

it was this year. cops pulled a supra from what i saw that was headed for the show and there were other cops in the parking lots running plates.there were also other tix given out in the parking lot, but i didn't catch wat cars they were. this was around 9:30ish i believe. one of them even said "ur lucky ur here or else it would pretty bad for u....." what kind of ish is that...

^i know what you mean, a show i went to this year, i popped my hood open as usual and these cops came up and start comparing my motor next to a xB2 and while i was cleaning the car i could hear them saying oh i see he has an illegal intake, headers..blah blah, i stood up because i was at the back and they looked at me and i was like oh shoot man WTF are they saying look at what i have, man go bust a turbo car that was on the other side instead LOL. shows with cops there are starting to get abit out of hand because they seem to be running everyone's plates down to see who's wanted LOL.

i doubt if they even have a right to be at the show venue. it is private property & they can't go and bust ppl on private property unless they have a warrant to be there.. might as well debadge our cars & put ford or chevy on there ahahaha ("i'm not an import anymore bish")

that's doing the reverse of a local ford contour that put a GTR badge on from autozone lol.

haha luckily illinois we dont have to worry about it as much as it sounds like out there. cali sounds like a joke to me anymore. here the cops are on the forums with us and shoot the ****. hell i go to shows with off duty ISP and undercover cops. its even better when someone you roll with's father is a detective and you get a police escort to a show every once in a while :-p

i think i have it good tho considering the fact that i only drive on the highway if i need to go anywere. i have really bad luck driving on the streets...
