Hehe, I know what the power is, I've felt it and while contagious, I know to limit myself.

Definitely a nice choice. That car is a serious monster, it's no joke. 2 of my friends have an Evo VIII and Evo IX, both MR editions. I'm jealous of them both, but hey, I get to ride in them almost everyday.

Be safe, treat it right. Don't do anything stupid and you should be just perfectly fine.

Some little eye candy :

The slightly lower MPG is worth it if you ask me.

Evo
This beast ran me about $36 g's. This model is the middle model. Between the cheapest RS and top of the line MR. It's still got power everything, just no 6spd. I plan on very minor mods, cause with how expensive this car was, I need to keep my warranty.

If anything, I'll probably miss the creature comforts and smoother ride of the tC. As far as gas mileage, whatever, it more than makes up for it in the power department. It's not a big deal to me.

That's because you have the stock Bilstein shocks on right? Those stock shocks are very very hard. However, once you get into aftermarket shocks, the ride will be softer than the Bilstein.

I'd recommend the Ksports 36 way adjustable coilovers. The Evo 8 MR is riding on those. It rides amazing, not too soft, not too hard.

I'll probably just stick with the stock shocks for now. I'm just happy to be driving an Evo.

You just had $30k sitting around in your bank account? Must be nice.

Or is that $30k including the trade in value of the tC? Which would mean that you only have a lean on the car for $6k+. Nice.

I put $28,000 plus $2,000 from my trade in, $30k total, so only $6k was financed.
