Hey guys I've been coming up with a few ideas. I was just wondering if I would violate any California laws if I don't have an "Official California License Plate," just as long as my original license plate number is on the car, it shouldn't matter right? As long as it's the right license plate number, it can be on any type or form of plate just as long as it's still visible with the naked eye right? As for having a license plate on the front of the car, I see alot of BMWs with a license plate but with no numbers, the ones with just the BMW logos, does that mean as long as they have a plate in the front it doesn't matter? or what's the deal with that?

 

you need the official ca license plate period. or a cop has every right to pull you over. depending where you are, you can get away with out the front one, but you definately need the rear one, the official one. lol

 

LMAO. Maybe I should grab some notebook paper and my crayola's and make a stylin' "front plate" for my car. Seriously man, you are 22 and think you can make your own plate?

 

if you go to prison you can make your own plate LOL!

 

gift shops sell ones with names on them. you can get a customized on online people put on their walls, etc. is that what you mean?
