Ok, I don't know where this thread has gone, but I can say this: I am not going to miss the man. TV preachers are among the most vile creatures there are. Anybody that convinces grand ma to send them her SS checks while grandma eats cat food and ramen is an evil disgusting humonoid.

So, if you sped before you accepted Christ and you still speed, then you never truly accepted Christ ? Or does that rule just apply to gays?
What if a ___ person repented their sins and then stopped their sinful lifestyle. Then, in a year or so, went back to it. He did change his lifestyle and did accept Christ in his heart and was forgiven. Does God take back the saving then? What if a person who has always been a born again - saved Christian starts to speed or has ___ thoughts or has ___ sex?
I don't know... I'm sort of rambling. It all just doesn't make sense to me.

Its not a once saved always saved thing. If you willfully sin after repenting, you commited sin again. We are not perfect, EVERYONE sins, me, you, dave, peter parker, superman, Homer Simpson, Zach Morris, the guy from the Apple Commercials, we all sin. If we repent to God, and beg for forgiveness, and do not commit that sin again, we are forgived.
If your kid cheated on a spelling test at school, and he said sorry, and you forgave him, but he kept on doing it over and over again, his apologies are kinda pointless, right?

The word Ge-Hen'na was a reference to a burning dump outside a city, I cant remember which one, I can find out later, that corpses were thrown in. It meant eternal destruction, not torture in Hell)
By the way to pretty much sum up most of that, Obeisance is not the same as Worship. Again, when translators incorrectly replace words with other words, like hell and worship, that can change the meaning a lot. Obeisance is a sign of respect, not worship. In a lot of Asian countries, people bow as a form of respect, they aren't worhipping that person.

In numerous scriptures, Jesus prayed to God, so he was praying to himself?

Edit: Adding more to this, The doctrine of the incarnation in Christian teaching is that Jesus, who is the second person of the Trinity, added to himself human nature and became a man.
The Bible says that Jesus is God in flesh, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.....and the word became flesh and dwelt among us" (John 1:1, 14); and, "For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form" (Col. 2:9). Jesus, therefore, has two natures. He is both God and man.
Jesus is completely human, but He also has a divine nature.

But the question is more about being saved. Does God take it back? Out of my years of private Christian school, I was told no... that once you were saved, you were saved. The conditions of being saved was recognizing that God loves us and that his son died for our sins and that we'd commit our life to him.
So...
If a ___ man accepts jesus, but never turns from his ___ life style he is still living in sin and not forgiven....i'd have to say he never truly accepted Christ into his life because he's still living in his sinful lifestyle

What if a person repented speeding but then, in the future, began to speed again and doesn't repent. Is now their guarantee of heaven taken away from them?
Speeding aside, there's like a googleplex of sins out there. Does every single bit of sin have to be repented at the time of being saved to be saved? Does every single bit of sin have to continuously be repented and kept up on at all times to keep one's saved status?

Being Christian doesn't mean you're no longer "tempted". Sometimes strong, God fearing Christians become weak and partake of things they shouldn't, according to God's word. Yes, they ought to repent but does their sin then take away their saved status? Does their sin not make them Christian anymore?

Technically with christianity, you can be christian, then commit a ___ act, then ask for forgiveness from it, and praying(honestly) you'll never do it again and you'll be forgiven. Then the next day, "satan tempts you" and you be ___ again, then before you goto bed pray(honestly) you'll never do it again. Then the next do the same thing over and over. techincally you'd be fine by christianity, even though people wuold call you a hypocrit.
If you know of king david, god's most beloved person, he sinned horribly over and over, but each time repented and prayed honestly that he would not do it again. Each time it was forgiven.
problem is, gays don't do this. if they did they'd be all good in the eyes of the christian lord but at the same time they wouldn't consider themselves ___, but just a hetero or non-sexual person who fell under satan's temptation from time to time.

So a fine Christian person gets tempted and then becomes ___. Is salvation then taken away from them?
I was always told that once you're saved, you're saved. If I'm wrong, then what kind of sin takes away your salvation? If one kind of sin takes your salvation away and another does not, then not all sins are the same. If all sin takes away salvation, then certainly only very few people ever make it to heaven. I mean, who could keep up with the repenting?!?!

There are debates within the christian circles, some people say that if you fall away from being a christian, you never were in the first place...basically, you cant loose your salvation. Others say that you can fall away and come back....it's an endless debate, really...but a fun one to pass time at work, none the less. :-)

What do they mean by "falling away"? If you begin to speed all the time on the freeway? If you start to gossip? What kind of sin is it does one fall into doing that takes away or deems you never had salvation? Temptation is there for everybody. A sin is a sin is a sin. If a Christian is tempted to go 10mph over the speed limit so that they're not late for church, they are knowingly breaking the law and that is a sin. If a Christian has a ___ thought, then they knowingly sinned. Tis all the same in the eye of the Lord and that speeder, that person with the ___ thought, all sinned and therefore weren't a Christian to begin with. They both sinned.
Gosh, so many things are sinful. It's so hard to believe that God finds them all to be the same. And I know that almost all Christians don't feel they are the same either. If they did, they'd really have to tone down on the anti-___ talk and all the anti-abortion talk. Because really, those things aren't any worse than the sin they're taking part of, whether it be masturbation, speeding, lust, using birth control, you name it.
But like all religious talk, my head is going numb and I fear I'm not even making sense. Plus, I have a husband who woke up, surely after a night full of sinful dreaming, who wants to kick me off the computer.

The only people that can do whatever and still goto heaven are the jews, as they are the "promised people". I myself was saved, but i imagine my preaching atheism to people, probably got me unsaved a while back.
