Don't get what?

I understand that pete broke the rules and was banned for it. Ultimately it is up to the mods whether or not he is going to be un-banned. What I don't understand is how come we are being told to delete any references to his name to avoid "annoying" the mods. How does this in any way help determine whether he is to be allowed back or not?! That should have no bearing.

i didnt even realize i still had it as my location, i will take care of that right now.

i didnt start the sig thing to annoy anyone in particular, it was more so done to show that there are many ppl here who support pete and feel that he is a valued member in the community.

im not in any way trying to black mail anyone, its more of a statement saying that if we keep losing valuble members in the community than no one will be here to answer anyones questions and the site will have way less visits, resulting in a lower revenue because of the lack of hits. i want the community to know that we stand together and that we all have each others back because were all here for the same reason...we love our cars.

and i know better than to badmouth the mods and so does just about everyone else in this thread. even if its not a mod...badmouthing will not get you what you want.

The fact is, that it does not help your case to bombard the people that can either help or hinder you by poking and proding them to make a decision on your timeline. I was pointing the remark towards tc_insomniac, not you. Please know that I hold no grudges for anything not directed personally at me/mods as well. It takes time to make decisions, which is why this is not going to get soted out right away. Get out what you need to get out but try to be constuctive in doing it, otherwise it means nothing...

Hoodie I would also like to say that I applaud you for not only your candor in rallying the troops, but keeping this for the most part constructive. I know there is a lot of emotion here but I feel you have done a very good job, especially considering the circumstances.

when you need people watching you so you don't get out of hand, you probably shouldn't be allowed on the street. this is a grown man we're talking about that can't follow simple rules. he was given 3 chances already. this guy gets a rise out of putting people down. liar, thinks he knows it all and is above everyone, swears he has connections with jamaicans, japs. the list of bs goes on and on. he doesnt own or do half the crap he says - its most likely photoshopd. i wouldnt doubt it if the reason he got banned was the same reason we kicked him out of 1up. kittens needs to get over himself and all these people need to wake up. this thread is rediculous. to the gallows!

and jason, it seems like you have a grudge against pete. 10 pages and your the only one with an extremely negative comment.

this is a positive thread, if you dont have anything nice to say please take it somewhere else.

perhaps you should talk to pete himself because it seems like you have some serious issues with him.

i know he is still on good terms with most of the 1up guys, and i dont doubt for a second that he has connection, how else could he get his hands on some of the parts that he has or has had in the past?

crayola, i dont fully understand the relevance of your response to mine. not sure how bashing ppl pertains to what i said, it it was referring to the badmouthing, then thats a little diff.

when i said badmouthing i meant its more calling someone names and talking crap to them for no reason, or maybe blowing up at them because they left a negative comment about your car, or yelling at them because you dont like a decision they made.

and lets keep this on topic. as much as id like to talk about underglow, theres bigger things at hand right now.

i agree and disagree with things that have been said on both sides.

right now im trying to be as helpful to the mods as possible so that we can get our boy petey back.

if they want all that crap out of our sigs, fine, its not that big of a deal, and im willing to do it if it brings us one step closer to getting pete back.

so if someone gets reported 3 times by 3 different people they get banned because they were not following the rules. When 50+ people give good rep of the one being banned should be also taken in consideration as well as when someone reports anyone!

50+>3 the equation can't get any simpler.

Plus if he has already said he is willing to control himself I'm pretty sure everyone that has signed the list is willing to help and watch out for him!
