yeah lots of undercovrer chargers around here too, as well as mercury marauders (got pulled over by one for driving in the HOV lane).

my problem is with cops that drive way over the speed limit in broad daylight with no emergency. i see cops crashing into other cars and ____ all the time on the news here.

^ some of the highway cop cars have that down here, it raises up, way up in the air and just supports circle lights. you can see it from really far away cause the 2nd lightbar is like 15 feet up from the roof of the car. i think its just a safety thing.

agreed - but they spend all OUR tax money on those cars that deserve better drivers than an oinky....
If you actually listened to the broadcast, they were confiscated cars.
Yep, they could add about 10 of these cars to their fleet for the cost of one new Crown Vic. They just have to remove the illegal parts and do a small retrofit.
In Montana(Missoula at least) - everyone was outraged because they spent almost 200.000 of tax dollars on these expeditions that the cops said they "needed" so they could bust people in the woods at kegs and stuff.

One year later they dont even use them anymore, because woodland parties and mary jane citations are now at the bottom of the priority list for the police here, as it stated in the paper

Im sure some of them are confiscated, but im also sure that the cops "say" they were confiscated just so they can overcompensate for the ridiculously small weiners that 99.9 percent of pigs have.

Serve and protect my a$$, more like get paid to harass....

Seminole fl has a silver dodge dakota with a flat top bed cover that lifts a few inches and lights pop out the side. it sucked when i learned of that one!!!! Most high end cop cars (esp in fl) come from drug bust and other forms or impound means.

And for those who are ligitimalty concerned about fake cops, if you are being pulled over by an unmarked (or marked) car you are allowed to slow down and continue driving till you pull up to a public or well lit area. Also if you think it is a fake cop, suck as the dokata i mention, you can call in and check with dispatch. Be careful though, cuz if you were getting a warning, you probably just lossed!!!!

i have been pulled over in the rain on the highway and slowed down, threw my hazards on and kept going till i got the an overpass a mile up. When the cop came to my window i told him there was no sense in him gettin wet since i was speeding.... i got a warning.

And i have been in rough areas at night and got pulled over so i went to a local gas station where we were well lit.

Wind deflector for the light bar. The lights are old school incandescents and are about 1' tall. They would catch a LOT of wind at higher speeds.
