I know it's mine because I am sponsored for my billet grille, and that's the same photo that they use on their catalogue, minus the red box, and the little logo. Plus, I recognize the waves in my lovely factory ground effects lip.
see what I mean?
I asked the seller, it's apparently some other brand, not the one I actually have. But when I asked him why he has a picture of my car up there, I get no response, lol.. go figure. And Ebay isn't doing anything, because how can I really prove that that is my car... it technically can be some other IIP tC from the exact same angle... same look, etc...
Oh well.. just find it odd when you see your own car advertised...

It's not an unprovable premise. It is the same car, same image, same reflections on the body, etc.
Notify eBay that the seller has unlawfully appropriated a copyrighted image of YOUR vehicle that you granted use rights to T-Rex, and not them. Give eBay a link to the image at T-Rex and if you have one on line, to your copy of the full image.
It may take a while for eBay to react, but they generally do take care of it.
Notify T-Rex that a picture of THEIR product is being used by someone else to advertise another product, and suggest they contact eBay and the other seller...
Squash 'em!!!

My car is currently being used on eBay (multiple items actually) also but Im cool with it. The fun part is not telling people which one it is on eBay I dont have a problem as it makes me feel good its out there from the few pics that have been given out!

Yea, I don't mind the pic of my car being used to represent the actual products that are on the car, it's just that this guy is using the picture, to represent some other product.
I've sent a complaint in to ebay, and I talked with the T-REX folks.. guess that they have been working on getting the pictures down as well. This guy's entire online store copies other businesses images to use as his own.
Guess I'm doin better than the one guy on here who found his actual car for sale on ebay :p

a lot of hard work and money go into a show/product worthy car ive found out. when i first started out, it was generic as hell but after awhile of pluggin away at it people recognize the hard work and things become easier (sponsors)

I had the same problem with a billet grill I bought for my girlfriend's tacoma. The pictures were from a different car, the grill was completely different(didn't fit, bent), and they won't return my grill unless i choose to go without a 25% restocking fee and minus my shipping, which ended up to be like half the price of the grill, what is with this world?
