" I live my life, a 1/4 mile at a time"....
10 second car, 60 second scene.....

Guess you don't watch these for deep thoughtful storylines anyways, it's all about fast cars ( check ) & things that go boom ( check )....

dvd rental here i come.

It's a movie that should not be taken serious...seems entertaining, though.

^^ I understand, was just goofin around. I actually own both 1 & 2 on dvd's, and enjoy them cranked up on the home system/big screen. I don't take it seriously, same goes for movies like House of flying daggers, etc.... I prefer to sit back and enjoy the movies, not wonder how someone can walk in the trees, or survive a hail of bullets, or whatever.
Maybe as each sequel changes direction, and adds/drops main characters, they will be able to keep it interesting and avoid from becoming like the Friday the 13th series.

I see an xB/bB at 1:15, in the background. Hatch is open, yellow fiberglass enclosure in rear.

Ill see it also. Hardly any car/race movies that come out in the theatres will represent what it is in real life. Hollywood will always glamour it up and give real tuners a bad representation. But the action scenes should look pretty nice.

When I heard paul walker or deisel wasnt going to be in it I was kinda disapointed, but when I saw bow wow my expectaitons dropped. Hopefully they'll be able to make a good and entertaining movie.

I'll see it just for the explosions, chicks, and cars.
I should make a movie that just has explosionz, chicks, and cars, and absolutely no story line...oh, wait... they just did it.

Fixed it for you.

You know, I never understood why everyone that saw the first two in the theaters decided that RIGHT after the movie DRIVING FAST BECAUSE OMG PAUL WALKER CAN DRIVE FAST is a cool thing to do. I remember the night after seeing the first one (yeah, I did, I'm sorry), I drove my bucket Camry down the highway and I see six different Hondas/Toyotas/etc. pulled off to the side of the road by patrolmen. It was pretty stupid.

This is so true. I can talk crap about FATF all day, but the fact of the matter is, I love to watch it every once in a while. I've started noticing all kinds of little bits of hilarity watching it lately though, for example:

Paul's Eclipse apparently has seven gears as he tops it out at the beginning of the movie, and hilariously spins (maybe he didn't have Z-rated tires?). It's also apparently a FWD non-turbo. When he drives up to the first race scene there you can see hoses hanging out of the bottom of his car touching the ground. Paul curb checks the ____ out of his truck when he pulls into the parking space at Harry's, I don't know how I missed that before. The big race is between an Eclipse, a Civic (I think, I forget), an Integra, and a FD... gee, no surprise who won. Ricers never really fell in love with Skylines until 2F2F, despite there being a yellow R32 rolling with Vin's crew throughout the first movie. And the crown jewel of hilarity: Everybody making fun of the wrecked Supra until they pop the hood. "2JZ-GTE, no sh*t!" What the hell did you think was going to be in there? Bonus hilarity points to all the silly car/race related terms they keep using, i.e. "...leave treadmarks on your face", etc. Ah yes. Comedy gold, but the movie is still fun to watch.

Ditto on the ricers flying out of the theatre after seeing the movie. Especially with this one being about drifting, I think I'm going to get a ride with someone else. i don't want some idiot kid in a Civic flying sideways into my WRX at 60mph.
