Fast and Furious Sound track
Ok I havent found the lyrics to one of these songs but wtf? "MUSTANG NISMO"?
hmm interesting. Not sure im really impressed with what I see on this album. I love N.E.R.D but that songs old though it is a remix. Same with that Julez Santana song.
1. Teriyaki Boyz - "Tokyo Drift (Fast & Furious)"
2. DJ Shadow feat. Mos Def - "Six Days"
3. 5,6,7, 8's - "The Barracuda"
4. Evil Nine - "Restless"
5. Far East Movement - "Round And Round"
6. N.E.R.D. - "She Wants To Move (DFA Remix)"
7. Teriyaki Boyz - "Cho Large"
8. Dragon Ash - "Resound"
9. Julez Santana - "There It Go(The Whistle Song)"
10. Don Omar - "Bandaleros"
11. Don Omar - "Conteo"
12. Brian Tyler feat. Slash - "Mustang Nismo"

The best song is the movie's theme song "Tokyo Drift". Teriyaki Boyz r doing it for the Asian hip hop scene. Jay-Z made a smart investment by signing those guys to Def Jam. I'm also glad to see Far East Movement on the sdtk. The last hot track for them was the Protect Ya Neck (freestyle) with Jin and Southstar of Smilez and Southstar.

I actually attended the music video shoot for Far East Movement's "Round & Round"
My boyfriend and friend's cars were both in the music video. Pretty interesting. I think you can see it on their website if you google it.

That song from Far East Movement is weak. Their best track was the "Protect Ya Neck" joint w/ some of Azn raps' finest: Jin, Southstar, LS, and Snacky Chan. In that song, they threw a diss at Hot 97's Jonesy for her Tsunami song. Check out www.aznraps.com for more info.
I dunno I got the Tokyo Drift theme as my ringtone, it's a hot song. Can't wait til Teriyaki's debut LP on Def Jam.
I just need to figure out what techno song was playing when Han and the main character drove past the cops. I can't seem to figure out who performs it. Anyone mind helping?

Who knows. Then again they don't really know much about American slang and culture other than watching TV. Cuz on Tokyo Drift, the one guy says "I'm not a Chinaman cuz I aint from China, I'm Japan..." It's like he doesn't realize that's a racist derogatory word in the US.

well the guy who says the china thing,
he is fluent in japanese and english.
he went to school in Boston,
so not knowing the culture thing? its not true
they are aware of the culture and the hip hop music in the US.
but they express more of japanese side cuz there is no way we can compare their music and hip hop music in the US.
of course hip hop music in the US is much better
theres no way they can comepete with that, and teriyaki boyz know that.
and of course it would sound sooo stupid if japanese dudes have English hip hop name, and dress like 50 cents and talk like them. u know what i mean?
thats why in some parts, verbal(one of the rapper in teriyaki boyz) pronouce english words with japanese pronouciation.
even the girl who goes "I WANDA IF U NO, HOW TO LIB IN TOKIYOOUU", she could do better than that
but they try not to cuz it might sound stupid if japanese chick sings like a black girl.
they could come up with better group name? No because obviously they are not trying to be successful in the US. their song was just in fast and furious.
and thats it.
but i still think they would come up with the same name
even if they wanted to relase CDs in the US.
