anyways... xBs get flashed a lot.... seems like alot of people think the hi-beams are on when they are not.... also possible that your lights are miss-aimd... going higher than they should and seem like hi-beams

Have you changed your bulbs? Is it possible that while swapping 'em you somehow messed up the aim?

yah.. if you havent messed with the lights at all.... its probably not the aim... tho not all are aimed correctly from the dealership...

also.. if you have a large sub-box or other heavy/non-stock items in the back.. it could cause your head lights to be aimed higher... ..
i know my sub box make my car look like its flat to leaning back..... natural xB stance i believe is front slightly lower than rear...

nope, I've never even touched anything at the front of the car. I've only had the hood openlike twice I think. but when I goto to remove the amber deflectors in the headlights I will remember to be carefull about that.

Since he flipped you off it could've just been an xB h8r. What kind of car was he driving? A Civic?

I also flash to let a passing tractor trailer know when it's safe to merge right. (to which they reply by flashing their running lights)...

So the gist of it is flashing High beams is context sensitive.

The guy was either letting you go ahead and got frustrated when you didn't, or was just being a *****.

How I Interpret Light Flashing

1. Wanna Race?
2. Your brights are on
3. Cops ahead.
4. Right away.
5. Or they want to tell you something like your gas door is open.

That has happened to me several times. Once, it was twice in one night. Both times I was sitting at a stop light to turn left and it was the guy opposite me. He flashed light 2-3 times. Then I showed him my brights and he stopped. You want to get blinded, I will blind you....Ka-chow! I wonder how many people have this problem. If thats just the way it is or if they can be aligned, if that is even possible with the lights we have.
