Ok scionlife I have a family that could use some help from everyone! Last Saturday at 11a.m. my boss and friend Frank Valentine Cano passed away due to pnuemonia. He was admitted into the hospital about 2 weeks ago before the infection took his life.

He was by far the most chill boss I have ever had and everyone at my work considered him to be family. This has been a huge hit on everyone here and it will definitely never be the same without him. However, his immediate family which I believe consists of his mother and his sister need help. Frank was there primary provider as far as money was concerned and now that he is gone they need some help to get back on there feet so the La Mirada Lion's Club (which started at my work, The Residence Inn in La Mirada) decided to setup a paypal account for donations to his family.

There is no minimum or maximum. $1, $2, $5..anything you or someone you know can spare would be awesome and very much apreciated. Also, I believe you can physically drop off the donations at the hotel as well. I'm not 100% sure on this but I'll update ASAP. Our hotel is the headquarters for the La Mirada Lions Club branch and the GM, Mariana Gonzalez, is the President of that branch as well. Here is the phone number and address

I'm pretty sure everyone that would be answering the phone knows about the fundraiser but if they sound clueless it might be because they haven't come in to work since it happened, but most people should know by now.
