friends with benefits aka fwb. can only work under two situations.
1)both hot , both dislike each other in "that way" , and are a little cold to the touch ( emotionally) or stuck up and they get at it full knowing it's just the sex
or
2)both like each other but are too chicken , or retarded to admit it and then use fwb ( friends with benefits ) as a way to start a relationship . BUT both must like each other equally.
FWB can NEVER work if the following is true:
one party likes the other but the other doesnt like the first.
you could continue with that scenario but it will lead in the termination of a friendship , heartbreak , someone feeling retarded.

Yeah, I hooked up with a long time friend of mine for a while (my girlfriend was traveling around the world for 6 months). We ended up still being friends at the end but decided to never again have the s-e-x. It can work....
