What have you mastered, exactly? I never was too wonderful with tabs but knew all the chords (except bar chords... my hands are small and after years of trying, I still couldn't do it. That meant I could play chord songs, as long as it didn't have a B in it, lol).
There are many online sites with free music. Usually submitted by guitar players.
Here's a good list of tab sites - http://www.guitartabs.net/ . I recognize the first few on the list as huge date bases. And also, even though the links say they have a data base of tab songs, there's usually a good amount of chorded music in there too.
There is a plethora of guitar related information on the internet. You can look up chords, tabs, lessons, tips, strumming... you name it.
As for songs/sheet music, each song usually has someone who has figured out the tabs for it and the chords for it. It can be done for a beginner or for a expert. If you like a song, seek and you shall find a version of it that will fit your level.
Even though you can find a easy way to play just about any son, even duck dodger's smartass suggestion "Free Bird" surely has one, there are certain bands that are sort of known for their simple guitar music... *cough* Ramones *cough*. Again, use the link I gave you... Google up more... whatever.
Good luck... practice practice practice and get yourself some knarly callouses on your fingers!

The first song I learned was Metallica's Enter Sandman. Fun song and not too difficult. I go to www.ultimate-guitar.com for tabs.

Black Sabbath - Iron Man
and then the very similar "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple.
the chorus to enter sandman
the beginning Crazy Train by Ozzy
Violet Femmes - Blister in the Sun
Nirvana - Smells like Teen Spirit

I have a popup killer so I don't get the ads.
There are a number of songs that are easy to learn and fun to play.
Wipeout
Dexter Freebish - Leaving Town
Bush - Glycerine
Green Day - When I Come Around
I found that punk is fairly easy to learn. I played a lot of Blink 182 when I started. Just listen to your favorite songs and look them up.
