Hanging Toy/Doll under Rear Bumper?
I'm starting to see more and more of this "trend" lately and it's got me wondering, what does it mean? What is it there for?
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, there have been a trend with the younger crowd and their imports lately where they hang a little doll/toy under their rear bumper.
Anyone have any info on what it means by them having something there? Isn't it kind of an odd place to put something?
Anywho, here's the only pic I can find that show's what I'm talking about. This is not my car, nor do I know who the owner is. Just using it as an example to better illustrate my question.

That is wierd. I've never seen anything like that before so unfortunately I don't know the answer to your question. However, I'm in love with volks wheels and that burned titanium lip is just absolutely sexy.

They are Drift Charms, lol I have these in the F&F Tokyo Drift video game for the PS2.
I think they are cool, whatever charm you get.
But my concern would be ppl who would try to steal them.

Yea... it's Drift-related. Most of my 240SX buddies have one. The last time I Was at Dave n Busters, I think I spent like 20,000 points on all sorts of mini Hello Kitties so they can be used as a 'drift charm'... hahaha, good times.
Other things people like to put:
Tein Character (Dampinichi?)
Hello Kitty and related Characters
Super Mario Bros Characters (Goombas!)

I see, so that's what it's for. Most of the car's I've seen them on are fwd though so I guess what started as a trend in the drifting scene is starting to pick up with the import scene in general now.
Oh and to add to the list, I've seen some Domo Kuns too!
