SoCo makes me wanna jump off a cliff.
I mixed up a nice batch of Gin and Tonic before the debate tonight. Delicious.

Ian's fool proof G&T recipe:
1.5 oz. Tanqueray Gin
3 oz. Schweppe's Tonic Water
Wedge of lime
Ice.

Fill a rocks glass with ice, pour gin over the ice
Squeeze lime wedge over gin and toss it in.
Pour tonic over ice, give a quick stir and enjoy.

I know many people would think a drink with 3 ingredients is impossible to mess up, but that's far from true. Look at how **** people are about Martinis...

I've found that a 1:2 mix (1 part gin to two parts tonic) is ideal to taste the gin but not be too strong, and not have the quinine in the tonic over power the drink (quinine is quite bitter and can ruin it.)

So measure the tonic, don't just fill the glass. The ratio is part of a good drink.
I also prefer Tanqueray to any other gin I've had. It has a lighter flavor than something like Bombay Sapphire or Hendricks (those are better for martinis).

Give it a shot, it's effing delicious.

on another note, ive been partyin 8 fookin days in a row since the 26th bcuz of my bday the 27th but with beer pong. I had a vodka shot and some sips, like 5? of this 20/20 orange juice called mad dog? and it was banggginngggg! [:

havent been sober all week. havent slept enough for a hangover...go coffee. lol

lol 1t tine i had rum was when i was like 14 in Hawaii. Ordered a drink and asked for it w/o alcohol. Lady brought with alcohol. I didn't complain. Drank it, then passed out. lol. too young is all those freshman that go party

 

try 3 olives vodka root beer & and root beer. I call it "Rooted Beer"

my new poison of choice is Cheerwhine and Crown Royal. I call it a "Cheering Crown"

for those not based in the Carolinas (since i think this is the only place they have it) Cheerwhine like a Cherry coke counterpart but taste much better. also look up Sun Drop. like mountain dew, but better.

 

had some bailey's tonight.....does not qualify as hard liquor but oh well.
